Le shark's mission 2. Empty Le shark's mission 2.

It was another bright new day for this young zora. The previous night had been awesome likewise the day. Dray had helped his best friend appa who was a large blue paled shark to remove an object that was stuck between it's great teeth. The animal had believed that teeth as huge and sharp as his' couls skewer anything thus giving him the courage to bite or chew on anything that came his way but dray was sure he had learnt his lesson.
Some more time left and dray would ascend the throne of the zora king. The previous king was dead but dray was not yet ready to take up the throne. He still needed more training, more studying and more of everything he needed to be king over the zora seas and a respectable figure in the lands beyond.
Completing jobs and missions were good such that he got money from them to buy necessary things which of course included books of leadership as he could not go to the library all the time and apart from the money he gained from these jobs and missions, his name spread far and wide. A solid base for becoming a king. Popularity.

As expected, he had another mission to do today. This time, the mission was detailed in a small scroll. Dray turned to the left side of his bed and stretched his right hand to pick up the scroll that lay on the bedside drawer. He opened the scroll and followed the contents with his eyes. It was not much of a mission other than the regular looking over the zora seas. This time, dray was required to check out the sewage system. The sewage passage seemed to have been blocked with about ten huge stones. Without these stones being removed, the sewage of cause would have no way to be exported out. Therefore, it falls on dray san to check out this problem and settle it.
Dray sighed as he folded up the scroll and placed it back on the bed side drawer's top. He got out of bed and went straight to the bath. He had a quick bath as he was hardly dirty due to his surroundings and him maintaining personal hygiened. Dray got out of the bath and dried himself a bit though that was literally impossible. Sea creatures were never dry. He only cleaned out his ears and other visible openings were water might have gotten into. He proceeded to wear his clothes after which he picked up the cleaver.
It was a new weapon he had bought with the money he received from the last mission. He specially requested for the make of this weapon. It was a three scythed blade which a robe attached to the end. A weapon which he knew how well to use.

He got out of his house pretty quickly as he moved to the location of the said sewage path. Dray was aware with most of the regular things that were present in the zora seas and he knew almost everyone too. The zora village was just like a city built under water. It had almost everything a normal city on land had except for a few modifications to suit the people of the zora race. They were perfectly comfortable in their under water city as the zoras possessed gills like fishes and other sea animals that enable them breath under water. The zoras were a gifted race for they were able to live on land in water. They were almost like reptiles but not exactly reptiles. Dray on his own part through long years of training, learning and meditation, he had learned to control his zora form and possess a more humanoid appearance except for the blue paled skin that was almost impossible to change and the gills that appeared as three slits behind his eyes. Dray focused on his mission as he searched for this particular sewage path that was blocked with stones. If this continued, then the zora village would likely be polluted. Being a zora king meant catering for the zora village and it's people and this mission, dray had to complete.

Suddenly, dray inhaled a gross smell coming form the surroundings. The said sewage was definetly around here. The liquid's path had been blocked and that was probably why it was giving off a bad odour. Dray followed the path of the gross smell carefully and trying not to lose the scent. Finally, he got to the mouth of the sewage tunnel. It was of course large enough to accomodate a fully grown zora and with a diving style, dray swam into the tunnel. He was such a good swimmer that it was easier to avoid the dirt that flew past him. He no longer needed to trace the smell as the tunnel was filled with it. Just then, the smell got seperated. He was getting another scent, one much different from the previous smell but very similar too.

Dray swam some more inches forward as he got to the point where the sewage tunnel was split into two different tunnels. This was not getting any more worse or so he thought. He followed the first tunnel due to his instinct afterall, if it was wrong, he could always go back the second tunnel. Dray swam metres into the sewer tunnel though he did not get tired, he was used to it. He was a creature that lived under water so he definetly knew how well to swim.
The smell got more concentrated as dray moved closer. Just then, the smell centered on something beneath the tunnel. Dray swam below and found it to be a dead water rat. He sighed looking back and seeing how far he had come. If the sewage system had been working properly, the dead animal would have probably been flushed away.

Dray stood put for a few seconds thinking of what next to do. He had come too far into this tunnel to go back now. He remembered while reading up a book about the village structure that the village sewer tunnels were linked allowing people to travel underground and secretly too. With much confidence, dray continued swimming forward. He kept looking left and right but it was just a sort of wall of one big tunnel. He swam some more inches forward until the tunnel was split again. There was a tunnel on the right and another on the left. He stood where he was and thought before making another decision. He knew for sure that the sewage system emptied somewhere to the west and he was definetly standing and facing the north so if he was to analyse the situation, the first tunnel which was the one by the left was heading west while the second tunnel on the right was on the east. Definetly, the tunnel facing to the west was the exit. Smirking to himself, dray headed into the second tunnel. He understood that all the sewage could come from different directions and head to the west so the one on his right definetly had to be the blocked one.

Not more than a few inches into the right tunnel did he find the huge stones blocking the tunnel. The cleaver would sure come in handy. With the first strike, the stones cracked. The second strike, small chunks of the stones fell to the fall. Building up strength in his arms and taking his hand backwards, he swung the cleaver towards the stones with sheer force as water mixed with dirt and various liquids gushed out of the tunnel and pushed dray back due to the broken stones. With the force of the water, dray could hardly swim as the water pushed him back. Stretching just one arm out, he grabbed the edge of the previous tunnel to his right as he got out of the water safe. He smiled and walked back home for his mission was complete.
