Training mission [Private/Mission]

Marik had been at the barracks when he talked to his superior about what he shall be doing that day. He was tasked with simply training himself which was something that he himself loved to do so he immediately got his training gear on and headed out to the training grounds which were attached to the barracks, the training grounds were simply a medieval gym. There were courses to train your agility, a miniature arena where soldiers could spar against each other and duel each other for bragging rights as to who's stronger than who. Marik himself had not participated in any duels yet but he was a very confident young man with a great amount of skill. As he strolled past the arena there were two people going at it with swords, he glanced for a few moments as he walked past to the training field, there had been no one there, letting out a sigh as he would be training by himself he got ready.

Marik's training outfit consisted of casual linen pants, his combat boots and a very thing layered shirt which had no sleeves, exposing his arms completely, this of course was not to show off it was all simply to make movement easier, as a swordsman he never chose to wear a massive amount of armor anyway because he didn't want to limit his mobility. His sword was attached to his hip, reaching down and wielding it in both hands he held the sword out in front of him in a stance as if here were about to be fighting someone, Marik liked to use a technique to train himself that he called 'shadow fighting' where he would simply imagine scenarios and play them out in his head while going through the motions with his sword. Marik closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, exhaling it through his nose as he cleared his mind, getting ready to train himself.

With his eye's closed and his mind open, he used his mind to begin to pain a world around him and using his extrasensory sense he made sure that there was nothing and no one around him so that he wouldn't be causing danger to anyone else who might be training nearby because this method of training requires the user to keep their eye's closed and simply use their mind to 'pretend' as if they were locked in combat. He pictured himself in an open field, the easiest of scenarios since terrain would not become an issue, slowly as if they were being painted into view, five figures in all black appeared, they seemed to be made in the likelihood of Marik himself, taking on his bodily shape. They wielded the same weapon as him and they slowly began to gain color as well, becoming very human-like and taking a combative stance, all of them facing towards Marik himself.

The five figured all charged at Marik, they were at the power-level of Marik himself, a newbie except that did not have the blessing of the God of Power, Din. Because they did not have this blessing they were actually much more inferior to Marik's skill than you would think. Marik parried the blade of the first one that came at him, pushing their blade back and lowering his to stomach level and slicing straight through one clone. The next swiped its sword right at Marik's neck, Marik leaned back to duck the blade but it caused him to stumble backwards, despite stumbling he still had his feet about him and quickly regained his balance, preparing for the clone to continue coming at him. With only four clones left, Marik was going to have to make more to keep his training up. Meanwhile, the two people who were in the sword arena caught Marik out of the corner of their eye's, wondering why he was swinging his sword around at the air with his eyes closed and stumbling around.

The two laughed at him for a moment, one even calling him crazy but that was simply because they didn't know. Not many people could understand Marik's determination. Marik charged at the closes clone and ran his sword right through its stomach as it had raised it's sword high in the air to try to bring the weight of the blade down on Marik's head or shoulders. As the clone vanished there were still three left. They backed up and took a formation as they could tell Marik was better than them, standing side by side the three clones held their swords out in front of them. Marik brought his sword back to a resting offensive position right in front of him as he eye'd each clone. He kept a close eye on all of them, watching and waiting for some form of movement as he slowly crept towards them, there was a high amount of battle tension between the four of them. Marik then rushed them all, putting his sword up to block a triple attack by all of the clones and pushed them back, slashing across the chests of all of them, ending his shadow training.

All looks good. Mission Complete.
