Aberham
Alias: The deathless
Age: 26
Sexuality: Straight
Race: Human
Kingdom: Hyrule
Personality: Aberham is an incredibly resilient person, he gives off a constant aura of danger in most situations. He wears a few different faces, from when it's time to suck up his pride and listen to his boss. To when he needs to be a terrifying force on and off the battlefield. To when he needs to be a brother. He is not honorable, and will consider all means to farther his own goals. He is a borderline psychopath, not caring about a select few people in his entire world and certainly not caring for those he hurts. Aberham respects power, and it always looking to get more for himself. He fears no man, and not even death. But his family and loved ones are his deepest emotional attachment in this world. He holds them above all else. Aberham has an overwhelmingly large amount of determination to see his efforts through to the bitter end.
Likes: Hard work, friends of levity, exploration. Any sort of effort makes the payoff all the much better for Aberham and a tough challenge is his normal routine. Aberham's own thoughts are relentlessly dark at almost all times, his family and his close friends are some of the only ways he can relieve this tension, and he loves them for it. Exploration tempts his greed, and his desire to gather power through unexplored means.
Dislikes: Heroes, monsters, dirt. Aberham does his every action for himself, not considering any but a close few others. He does not understand heroic types. He believes them to be weak. Aberham finds monsters to be uncontrollable pests who are nothing more than another tool to be exploited and fastidiously thrown away. Aberham has been filthy for a great deal of his life, he hates the smell of dirt and could never imagine taking up gardening.
Motivations: Family: Aberham seeks to elevate his entire, large family up to a higher status in life. The absolute highest that he can achieve.
Power: Aberham has never been opposed to the idea of ruling a force or even a kingdom himself. His current plan is to become a general to whoever will take him as one, then with a powerful army at his back... Take everything that he has always deserved. It's his ultimate dream.
Fears:
Justice: Aberham is a superstitious sort. While he would never admit it, his greatest fear in this life or the next is karmatic retribution. He would rather die of a terrible illness than of a hero beating him fairly.
Insanity: Aberham possess an iron willpower, but the idea of it one day being overwhelmed by the madness of the world around him is almost too much to bare.
Height: 7"3
Weight: 435
Eye color: Nutty Brown
Hair color: Nutty brown
Special features: His entire body short of the face is covered in scars.
Appearance: Aberham is an absolute monster of a man. His eyes and hair are each a nutty shade of brown. His body is absolutely ripped with muscle. His hand is large enough to wrap around a human skull and his legs burly enough to crush them. In battle he wears a very thick and heavy suit of dark colored armor with an artic wolf's skin on his back.
History: Aberham was born as the 7nth of 12 brothers. Into a family of dirt farmers. Dispite the fact that they never seemed to mind the backbreaking work. He always wanted so much more out of life then an eternity of toil followed by a hopefully late death. Much, much more. For starts, hopefully was never good enough for him. He committed himself fully to every aspect of his life. Training his body and studying with his mind at every opportunity he got. Aberham's motto was, you can sleep when you're dead. Speaking of death, he seemed interested in seeking it out. In more ways then one. Once he was above age, he left his farm to join a mercenary detail. Funds were nice, experience was what he was after. Aberham devoted himself to being a true warrior through and through.
Although with such a business came a number of unexpected occurrences. Namely the spirit of the first man he had killed coming back to haunt him. After this week long, sleepless event he finally kicked the ghost to the curb. But he became infatuated with others. Spending his down time in quiet graveyards disturbing the peace. Being able to bring their bodies back was an.... Unexpectedly fortuitous occurrence. Brought on by many offering of intense and animal blood to the dark power within himself. Still, such a life could not satisfy such a man as Aberham for long. One day he gave his resignation to his boss after a battle and left to take the world by storm.
RP Sample:
This as the day, Aberham was finally ready to test weather or not he could begin to set his true plans into motion. One more pesky battle against a nest of giant snakes and he may very well be done with his pesky "allies". The plan was clear, it had been gone over a number of times. He was to take one of the exit's of their den, once the fire was lit on the inside he and his compatriot would cut down everyone that came their way. He looked over to this man, a puny 5"6 Gerudo who hadn't even bothered to ask his name despite over five years of service together. He scoffed, taking the sword off his shoulder that was a foot taller than her. She was not long for this world anyways. He could hear them coming, slithering across the stone up to their fates.
The first snake, easily big enough to eat a horse. Shot out of the cave, without a moments hesitation it flung itself to Aberham. A very pour choice on it's part. He plunged the great sword in an overhand swing onto it's head. Then placed a boot on it's neck to pull the blade out of the brain. What a meaty blow, effortless. Instictual. Exactly what he had been working so long for. The next came in a pair. Smaller than the last, but bigger. He weaved around his reflexively as his compatriot dealt with her own. When the snake bore it's fangs and hissed he held no fear, punching it's head to the side easily as it lunged out. Before stepping on it's now prone side to keep it down an swiftly stabbing it in the throat.
His ally had already dispatched hers. He scowled to no one but himself. The sounds were getting much louder, he knew they were about to come out in a wave. This was the test he had been so long preparing himself for. He raised his sword. The first ten seconds were not that bad, Aberham's fearlessness not allowing him to take a single step back as he kept the scale to scale crowd at range with his reach. The next minute was very hard. He had to force himself to use what he had learned in these last few years. Not allowing them to escape or surround him at the same time. He just could not kill them reliably enough by his own measures. He sweated, the Gerudo was not even breathing deeply. Dispite the stress. Filled with new determination. He took his blade in both hands, brutally decapitating two of them before it got caught in a third ones spine. He did not care, when the first monster attempted to capitalize on this weakness he caught it and snapped it's neck easily. Turning over and slapping the next away with his body.
Soon, they feared the giant. Pulling back in a circle around him. Instead of killing his foes, as planned. He began to throw those brave few who came at him over their friends to his ally. Not expecting this, her eyes went wide as she swiftly reacted to the new challenge. Too late however, her blood was spilled. The group mentality took over and in seconds the others were over on her. Swarming her location as she fought back desperately to cling to life. Aberham took deep breaths, looking to the woman he knew so little of with an expression free of care.
One he could hear her screams get lower and lower her ripped his sword out of the fallen snake. Leaving the living to their meal as he looked over the 14 dead bodies around him. Smiling behind his face plate. "Rise" He commanded, forcing their spirits back into their bodies. The eyes twitched, and they stood their heads up like puppets on strings. "Now. Give my boss Scarlet my resignation would you not? Before she finishes with the other members of your family." There was no recognition, they simply slithered off past their living brethren to obey their master.
A half hour later, Aberham had finished packing up his camp site. A pillar of smoke trailing off to the sky in the background. They were gone, but he would still take pleasure in doing this. He Stuck the tinderbox and raised the logs in the middle of camp into a healthy blaze. Pulling a torch out for himself as he slung the bag over his shoulder. He tossed the torch behind himself. Into the main tent. "Wait till they get a load of me."
