Name: True name: Seith, Current name: Marik LeVain
Alias: No.

Race: Second generation god/Human
Kingdom: Exiled

Seith Untitled-2_1
Personality: In this society, Marik is considered a man and as such, Marik acts accordingly because he has no other choice but to act strong and unfaltered. Marik is the type of person to become a role model for younger generations because of his nature, first and foremost Marik is a knight of Hyrule. Being that he is a knight there are certain personality traits that come along with the responsibilities of being a knight however, Marik possesses these traits naturally instead of simply adopting them due to his knighthood. Marik is very kindhearted and would help anybody in need of help. To Marik, helping people is something that should come naturally to anybody as it does the spirit some good, Marik often feels good about his deeds and treats himself to a hefty steak meal which just so happens to be one of his favorite things every, good karma all around! Marik believes in chivalry to a decent extent, he doesn't believe that he is a slave to any women but he does believe that there should be a certain level of respect shown to them instead of disrespecting them since disrespecting anyone gets you nowhere. Marik has very deep and powerful convictions, because of his past Marik has no choice but to force himself to grow up to be a strong and influential figure because he must then travel back across the Sea of Storms which is a task that not many could do as is, once he crosses the sea he must then find his homeland and liberate it from the invaders and because of this task Marik feels like he has no time to mess around or act stupid, foolish or childish. Because of this mentality, Marik does everything at 100% effort and he is someone who will never be seen as a 'slacker' and even has a small reputation which grows with every day for being someone who will one day achieve excellence.

Marik has good people skills, he is not afraid to engage in conversation with complete strangers of enter some sort of situation with strangers where he feels that his assistance is needed or even if he feels like he needs to intervene in the current situation. Marik can assess a person very quickly, it is a quality that he possesses which helps him out a lot. The word 'stranger' is a very vague one to Marik because of this quality to read a person very quickly, Marik can become friends or enemies with someone in a matter of seconds. When Marik becomes friends with someone he can be very friendly and useful immediately, Marik is the type of person where he would die for his friends and even kill for them though when it comes to killing for friends, this would apply in situations of combat where a friend has been seriously injured, captured or even killed. When Marik is forced into a position where he would and will kill for his friends he becomes an enemy that you should have never made, Marik will not even sleep until he has killed whomever it is that he so deeply dislikes that he wants to kill them, that or until his friend is saved because Marik does not believe in killing someone if it is actually unnecessary. When it comes to people Marik dislikes, he tried to avoid contact with them because he believes that 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.' Marik dislikes the types of people who constantly feel the need to keep tabs on him because of his success, he dislikes the jealous types of people who wish to be him or even try to be him, there is a difference between true jealousy and admiration to Marik however. To enemies, Marik will become instantly hostile and weary because you cannot always know what your opponent is capable of. Marik isn't opposed to exchanging words with his enemies though he only does this in order to get through the formalities as fast as he can so that they may get down to business.

Marik has undergone a severe change however as he has now become the vessel for Seith, once known for being the god of good fortune has been put through a punishment and pain that has changed this god of good fortune into a vengeful god. Seith and Marik were once very similar in deals and thus Seith has chosen this boy to become his vessel, slowly but surely Seith instilled his own pain into Marik, bringing Marik to a stat where Seith and himself are at an understanding. Seith himself was once noble in cause and mindset though as he was imprisoned underneath the pyramid which the Triforce sits atop of, he was put through a sort of torture that only a god could endure and because of this it made him corrupt, not only being so close to the thing he wanted most but also with the loss of someone dear to him, it broke his spirit and molded it into something dark and angry. Seith has a very short temper and will go off on anyone at any time he see's fit, his bouts of anger are usually driven by much more than what had initially gotten him mad in the first place though he is unrestrained in this anger. Despite this anger he is for the most part under control and uses a rather cocky attitude to mask his anger especially when he doesn't want to lose his temper. Most of Seith's anger is directed towards Hylia but not the princess herself despite the fact that he dislikes the princess though he dislikes Link even more though this part of him mostly comes from Marik's dislike for Link and the fact that he is the 'Hero' since Marik comes from a place where this does not exist.

When Marik finally broke and fused with Seith, both Seith and Marik become a whole being with extra power, the power of the tormented god of Good Fortune. Not much changes about the personality of Marik as Seith had been very similar in mannerisms. One of the major personality changes that the two go through as they combine into one being is the fusion of their anger and sorrow which caused both of theirs to become heightened to extreme levels. Seith acts out of emotion most of the time as it is the driving force behind his motivations much like Marik, as a whole being they have become extremely vengeful. To them revenge is a powerful idea that can change the course of history, while revenge has been seen as something to look down upon the two have rationalized that it is the only way for them. When Seith or Marik has felt wronged they will go as far as to go out of their way to even the score with any and everyone around them, unleashing the divine wrath that lies deep within both of their souls which brings about a side of the two which as a whole becomes a scary scene. When in this Divine wrath state, Seith loses all inhibitions and sight, not in being able to see but in ability to discern friend from foe, wrong from right and love from hate which often leads him to ruin things for himself without injuring his actual goals, it simply turns out to be something that will wound him on the inside. Seith does not like getting people who should not be involved in his affairs to be caught in them, often brushing aside those who are insignificant to the current situation which makes him seem rather standoffish towards uninvolved parties.

Motivations:
- Gaining the Triforce: While on his own Seith has a vast amount of power he does not how the power of an Old God and because of this he wishes to attain the Triforce. He had once been so close to getting what he wanted that he had actually touched the Triforce though when this happened he was fiercely rejected by the Triforce by the ancient rules set upon it and as severely punishes for attempting to break said rules. Seith knows that in order to accomplish his overall goals he requires not only his full power but also the additional power of the Old Gods which he can attain by gaining the power of the Triforce.

- Disproving the Hero: A goal that comes more from the Marik side of Seith than Seith himself, Marik whom comes from a distant land that he had to cross the Sea of Storms alone to reach, does not believe in this 'Hero of Legend'. Marik believes in a much more normal way of seeing things as he believes that it does not matter if you are some fated being or not, a Hero is determined by actions and accomplishments, not by some silly accomplishment. Because of this, it is Marik's personal goal to best the Hero to not only show the people but Link himself that determination is what creates power not fate.

- Reviving Hylia: A personal goal of Seith's, in the time that they were gods Seith had been the main protester of the splitting of realms though he was rather behind the curtain as the other goods feared his good fortune so they did not wish to reveal that it was Seith himself to Hylia and in turn make Seith their enemy. Seith wishes to revive Hylia for a few reasons which haunt him to the current day. Seith wishes to be able to display his feelings for Hylia, while she had looked up to him it was actually her that inspired him despite their difference in ideals, Seith also wishes to revive her in order to attempt to convince her that the separation of the realms is not only not the best way to go about it but also that there are alternative ways that it could be handled.

Fears:
- Punishment: Seith fears being punished by the Triforce once again. The first time Seith tried to gain the Triforce he had ignored the rules of the Old Gods and tried to use it's power even through he himself is a god, this did not work out very well for him in the end however. Upon touching the Triforce he was punished, placed in a sort of prison that could hold a god of his caliber, he was not only stuck there for a great amount of time but tormented as well, letting the power of darkness seep deep into his very being.

- Failure: Failure to Seith could come in several forms, he is using all of his might to try to change the course of history as well as the rules of the Old Gods which is no small task even for someone who is a god himself. Seith has underlying fears that Marik was not the right choice in vessel for him, that if he manages to revive Hylia that she would reject him and his ideals of re-fusing the worlds and seeking a new solution to the problem of the destruction of both the gods and the humans.

- Becoming resented: Not only does Seith fear the rejection of Hylia but also fears the resentment that she could possibly give him. Both Marik and Seith are the type of beings to have unwavering wills, they are capable of believing in something so deeply that there is next to nothing that could change the way they are nor the way they thing and view things. Because of this, Seith is willing to even go against the last act of Hylia, whom he had fallen for, all to bring her back and try to reverse the final act that she had committed.

Seith Untitled-4_1
History: Created as a second generation god along with the god of time, war, death and knowledge, Seith is the god of good fortune and as such he brought good fortune to all those around him though he was also feared by the other gods in a way that they did not wish to make Seith their enemy for they knew that good fortune was on his side. Hylia the Goddess of time had looked up to Seith as he was a bit older and he had the will of fortune on his side, most saw him as almost as infallible as the god of knowledge in terms of actions and knowledge because even if he didn't know he was right good fortune would most surely make sure he was. For a while everything was fine in the realm though it did not stay this way forever. Hylia had decided that the world of gods and humans should become split so that the gods did not have free passage between the worlds in order to save them all from some certain destruction because of the demons. Many gods did not fear the demons however and because of this an uprising against Hylia's idea began which had initially been started by Seith whether it was an accident or not as he had commented to the other gods that Fortune was most certainly always on his side and no human nor demon could bring about such destruction under his watch as he could quell any uprising with his power alone. Most gods took this as Seith taking a stand not only against the demons but against Hylia as well. Eventually the other gods had forced Seiths hand as it had gotten to the point where he was essentially forced to be the enemy of Hylia and attempt to gain the Triforces power so that if his negotiations with Hylia to not separate the realms failed, he could simply stop her with the great power he would have.

Unfortunately for Seith this brought most of his power to an immediate end as not only was he rejected by the Triforce but punished severely by it as well, being imprisoned under the pyramid which the Triforce sat on top of, he was tormented for several thousands of years. During this time, darkness had slipped into his very soul as he was driven into a kind of madness that brought about great anger and sorrow from deep inside of him to the very surface for all to see. Finally a beacon of hope and fortune had struck him, a troubled boy named Marik would be his escape. Marik had been a young prince from a far away land that had been forced to cross the Sea of Storms all alone with only his own might to protect him though he was blessed by Din so Seith knew this boy was special, he was tough and so Seith watched him grow only to find out that he was much like Seith. Marik did not like and believe in the Hero as he had different ideals. While he didn't fancy the princess he did dislike Link because Marik had heard he was some special Hero of time which Marik simply did not believe as he had trained with Link himself and bested him in combat before though it was merely sparring or training. Marik matured into the Captain of the Guard and was a proud young man and a very fierce and powerful one as well though everyone was so focused on this 'special' Hero that his accomplishments fell upon deaf ears, he was hardly even congratulated for becoming captain of the guard and slowly grew to loathe Link though he never said anything about it, he wasn't one to take action about something so petty like that. Seith came to him at a moment of deep despair and offered Marik the ultimate path to his own salvation, he offered Marik the power to defeat the Hero and do whatever he so please, Marik accepted and now Seith awaits the day where him and Marik shall fuse together and start their quest to unleash Seith's full power so that they may attain the Triforce.

RP Sample:

It was an average day for Marik, he had been enlisted in the Hyrule army as a knight though like all the new members, they didn't get the important jobs and their rank was low. Today Marik was on patrol in the city of Hyrule which would prove to be an easy day, mostly nobles lived there so the crime rate wasn't very high, it wouldn't be likely that Marik would be fighting off any monsters or anything, especially not so close to the castle itself. Marik wore his usual attire with his tattered cape and his blade which rested on his back. Marik strolled through the crowded streets of the trade district by himself, he kept his eye's peeled as they shifted back and forth simply watching over everything that was going on. Marik peered up at the sky with his blue eye's which seemed to match the color of the sky, it was a warm and sunny day with a light gust of wind which would roll through every now and then cooling the warm air off just a little bit, not enough to make it feel unpleasant however, it was simply a beautiful day.

Taking in a sharp breath and exhaling it, he felt someone bump up against him and walk past him, murmuring "Sorry" lightly as they continued to walk on past him. Marik looked down as the figure walked past him, they were completely cloaked and hooded in a brown cloth, odd he thought since it was such a nice day and nobody really had a reason to hide themselves in Hyrule City, it was a very friendly and safe place. Marik shrugged and started to stroll through the city more, in the direction that the other person had just went, he wasn't exactly following them but that's just where he had already planned on going.
