Soul Searching [Open] [No Combat/Killing]

Cascades of light rays escaped through the leaves of the thick trees, giving the forest a glimmering path as King Galadhion strode through on his large Elk in silence. If the King were ever to feel overwhelmed or needed some time to escape from the politics in his life, this was the place he always chose to go. It reminded him of simpler times before he had to worry of being a King.... though he supposed that was always a worry on his mind. The woods brought him a bit of peace since he did not have to worry of constantly pleasing his people.

However, the woods often haunted him. Despite the serenity and comfort he felt as he walked the path, he could not shake the guilt in the back of his mind for what he did to his brother many years ago. It was a secret he would take to the grave, since all who were around when it had happened had believed the show he had put on so that no one had known of the terrible act he had committed. Closing his eyes as he attempted to block out those thoughts, he listened to the sounds around him - the birds chirping, the bugs buzzing, the wind blowing through the branches... anything to distract him.

Aberham walked through the forest as well, his black cape blowing on the gentle breeze. He was looking at a map, Aberham was on a quest a self given quest mind you, to hire some mercenary's to inflate Ganondorfs army. It would be good not to rely on monster based troops as much. They all had specific exploitable weaknesses while humans were a very well rounded sort. He was following his compass to a big old X on his map where the camp was currently at. He put his map away and stopped to rest. Taking a swig from his skin of water. That is when he saw a many looking to be of particularly high birth walking here as well. "Hail good sir! You do not see many other people in this part of the forest, I have encountered bandits here decently!" When he looked over the man he noticed he still had one of their arrows in his shoulder plate. "They must have hit me with this as some point. I swear, one of these days my luck is going to run out. One of these little thin wooden shafts is going to slip into a chink of my armor and kill me." He pulled it out to throw it to the side. "I am the black knight, pleased to meet you." The black knight was someone working up quite some notoriety as a mass murdering piece of scum for hire that worked in all of the three kingdoms causing trouble. Though perhaps her burdened Hyrule the most. The only real question if someone would know him or not would be if they were to far up the chain to see the wanted posters that were growing in abundance around the towns. There was no tangible reward, yet.
