Sword- A standard issue military sword, made of folded steel. It's double edged blade is roughly three and a half feet feet long, six inches wide. The hilt is also made of steel, the handle wrapped in leather straps to grip the blade firmly.

Shield -- A standard issue military shield, made of reinforced wood and steel. The top of the shield, about 2 feet across, is flat, as it's edges go down about 2 and a half feet, before the edges slant inwards, for an additional half a foot. The shield is bordered in wood with studded metal every so many intervals. The right of the shield holds an embroidered pattern in metal. A metal strip, also studded in intervals, separates the left side, which holds three blue sides going down it's length, sporting the Hylian blue.

Strength: The weapons are sturdy, better than most weapons commoners, recruits, bandits, and monsters have.
Weakness: More significant character will outclass his weapons easily. They will waver under the blows of stronger creatures.

1.) The ability is registered as Shield Bash but called Shield Attack everywhere else. Tis a minute detail...

2.) Maybe a move like Helm Splitter is a bit much at the time. It seems a bit complex for an amateur to me.

Fixed! Yeah, the more I looked at Helm Splitter, the more I questioned, can a recruit do that? Link, maybe, but anyone else? Nah.

This needs at least one strength and one weakness. Also, maybe you can add the length and width of the shield, and the length of the sword?
