Across the fields of Hyrule the man went, searching for an adventure of some kind, as well as hoping that the adventure would include a client that would pay him to do something, because he was running out of money. Axel Rover was known to be a fast spender after all, what with all of the pubs and 'fun houses' as Axel would call them, there was always something to spend his rupees on. The man probably couldn't even tell you the last time he tried to save up for something special. He could have bought a house by now, but Axel has expressed multiple times that he does not want to settle down in one place, instead traveling across the entirety of the world in search of new adventures. He was now in a grassy valley with large mountains on the sides of him and a clear blue sky with a shining sun above him. As he walked along the river to his left he came across various bushes that had berries which he would have eaten if they didn't look rotten, which meant that they were either bad tasting or bad tasting and poisonous. He also spotted various wild life that ran past the valley, mostly going towards the direction Axel isn't facing.

"Dammit! When will I find someone with money?" Axel shouted the question into the blue sky, and luckily enough for him his prayers were answered about 10 minutes later when he was staring down an entrance sign that said 'Millenia Town." This made him happy with delight, because every town he has ever went to looking for clients has given him at least one, and two on good days. Hell, once he found a town full of people with problems, though the jobs they asked were quite trivial. That didn't mean that he didn't get a ton of rupees that day though. Usually all he had to do was walk across the streets of a town and because of the weapons on him, people would assume that he is a wanderer who would love to help out, then when they ask he hits them with a required payment for his services.

He began walking across the old, beaten down town. Most of the buildings had the same bland gray color with holes in the walls, and if not holes, there were huge dents as if some crazy wizard came to the town and screwed them over. The town's size was about average, which made it quite easy for Axel to traverse it. Finally an old man wearing blue overalls with a white T-Shirt came running up to the front of him, then stopped a few meters away.

"You! You look like a man that could help the town's people out! There is a bandit camp northwest of here a few miles out that's bandits keep coming here to take our stuff! The hylian soldiers usually come here 3 days a week, but they haven't come at all this week!" whined the old man. Axel stood there, a smile beginning to smile on his face.

"Ok, I will get rid of this bandit camp for you, but how many rupees will you give up?" the mercenary asked.

"Uh, well, I was hoping not to get the town funds involved, but I guess I can spare, 10,000 rupees?" said the man with a fake smile, because now he knew he was calling upon the help of an asshole.

"Eh. Give me 30,000 rupees or I won't even consider going that way. They might be insistful, and it would hurt my pockets if I had to kill them with no money in hand afterwards," Axel said, his smile getting bigger. He wasn only this rude and mean when he was dealing with a person he did not like, or when he was talking business.

"Ugh, fine, anything for the town. Here you go," replied the man, and with that he took 30,000 rupees out of his wallet. Axel quicly snatched the money and began to leave the town, traveling towards the bandit camp northwest of his current location.

The bandit camp was on top of an average-sized grassy mountain which was in the middle of a small forest. Axel had no troubles traversing the area and was able to safely make his way to the top of the mountain, where his eyes gazed at about 5 red tents, remains of word from fire burning, and a few bags. The only person there was a man that looked like one of the bandits, but he was sleeping in one of the tents. The other bandits probably told him to guard the area, but he obviously didn't care enough.

"Great, onky one if them is here. Now i have to wait around for them to come back, ugh," Axel said aloud purposefully, so that the bandit would wake up from his sleep. He did, and when his half-open eyes gazed upon the mercenary, he jumped up almost immediately, picking up the dagger to his right in the tent, then he rushed Axel and attempted to stab him multiple times, but before that Axel got out his shield and his sword. With his shield in his left hand and his sword in his right, he parried a stabbing attack and then sliced the enemy to death with multiple slashes going horizontally, vertically and even diagonally. With that it seemed that the other 4 began to come back up the mountain.

"Wow, perfect timing!" Axel shouted so that the bandits would know that an enemy was present. It seemed that they were as ballsy as him, because they came from the front, or maybe it was just because they thought they would win since it was one man. They didn't know it was only one man though, so Axel had to give them a silent congratulations. They spared no words for the mercenary, and 2 came straight at him with daggers, yet he was able to block efficiently and dodge when needed, decapitating one of them and stabbing the other in the heart, all while jumping around. As soon as he pulled the sword out of the enemy's heart however, the other three was advancing on him, so he had to do a dodge-roll out of that location. Just as he did that the two bandits stabbed at him, so he was lucky. He then got up gracefully, and while the bandits were still recovering there arms from those powerful stab attacks, he came at them with a barrage of slashes, ready to block with his shield if necessary. At the end, the 3 were dead, which was surprising because he thought that 5 people would be a match for him in his bad condition. He accepted the win anyway and went back to the town to collect his career.
