Ark - Sheikah
Alias: Smiley
Age: 250
Class: Swordman
Sexuality: Straight
Race: Sheikah
Kingdom: Hyrule - Kakariko Village
Special features: N/A
Personality: Compare to his Sister you would never believe them to be a family, or maybe their exactly like a family. He cares little about what the world thinks of him and tend to go where the wind takes him. He is never seen without a smile, even at the worst of times, and yet his smiles are not always friendly. To most Ark appears to be a simple man, an easy target or someone easily pushed around. Yet Ark is no fool and hides his true self behind those smiles. He is the type to sit back and watch and listen, to learn what he can before acting. Never one to take a side unless it was needed. Unlike his Sister who could be the shiny symbol of justice, Ark stands in the gray. Never involving himself with events unless it befits him or unable to avoid it. Yet, Ark isn't a bad man, he wouldn't stand by and watch as evil men or monsters have their way. Nor is he a good man, sticking his neck out for nothing more than good grace.
Over the years, Ark has traveled far and wide over the Kingdom and there some outside. Half to see as much of the world as he can and half to try and outrun his duty in life. This has never allowed him to stay in one place for too long so making friends has never been easy. Yet he does have a few, or more of that they are the family of old, long dead friends. To Ark, death is just a part of life, a part his kind see far more than others. Still he doesn't allow it to stop him from meeting and making friends. A lesson he has tried to teach his sister many times. From a Sellsword to a pirate, a Knight, or ever the Nobility of court Ark see them all in the same light. Men and women who will live and die under the same sky.

Motivations: - Freedom: For Ark the greatest thing in life is his freedom. Rather good or bad, he wants to live his life the way he wishes. Unlike his sister Ark dislike his life being decided for him.
- A Better Life for the Clan: Ark wish for a better life for his clan outside of servitude of the Royal Family. He wishes for the Sheikah no longer be just be the protector of the Royal family but be Hero of the land he knows they could be.
Fears: - There are few things Ark hold dear to his heart. But one such person would his sister. He knows of her determination to her goal and fear losing her to it. Afraid she might on day give her life for these people who have asked so much from their clan already.
Being helpless- Death isn't something he really afraid of. It's being helpless with that time come. To be unable to fight back or anything and just allowing death to take him away.
Height: 6'1
Weight: 190lbs.
Eye color: Sheikah Red
Hair color: Crimson
Appearance:
At one look at Ark, it is clear as day he is the mirror image of his Sister. His body language is that of a man who has lived a carefree life. Offend slouching and smiling to all. He shares the same crimson hair as his sister, with only a lighter shade setting the two apart. Much of the time, it is unstyled giving him a bedhead look. Thankfully he was blessed with a handsome face with slightly tan skin. His eyes are the Sheikah red which seem to glow along with his crimson hair.
Standing at six feet and one inches and at hundred and ninety pounds he is anything but a small man. Despite his lazy feel, Ark body is fit and strong with the muscles of his hours of hard training. Along his body, one can see the handful of scars he has gain over the years from his travels. This can mainly be seen on his hands and finger. Both from fighting and training.
History: Like his elder twin sister Ark was born in the Kakriko Village. Like other Sheikah, he was trained from a young age to one day take the role of protecting the royal family. But Ark wasn't like other Sheikah for he did not accept his fate with open arms. To have his life picked for him before, he was even born. So with a burning hunger for freedom Ark did what he was told, for a time. Despite his distaste of the goal, Ark did enjoy his training and learning during his youth. Always trying to better himself and beat those around him. At the age of fifty Ark placed his plan into action; his plan for freedom. Opting to hang back for one more year Ark allowed his sister to leave before him knowing she would never allowed him to go unchallenged. A year later he set off for service of the royal family but would never arrive. In his place came a letter addressed only to Luci telling her he was sorry and for her to be safe.
The years that followed that day seemed to flash by in an instant. He met, fought, and even loved during his time. Each helping to build him more into the man he would soon become. The world was nothing like his little world within the Kakriko Village. No, the world was big wide and most of all free! He loved it. From a the life of a Sellsword to even a pirate for a time he never allowed his skill with the sword to dim. Even making many friends with those high in the underworld. However, at the age hundred he held news that only made him smile. At last his sister was given freedom to travel that land. True it was still in service of the royal family, but at least she was no longer trapped behind those great stone walls.
RP Sample:
The sound of hoofs on stone and dirty had slowly become that of a lullaby to the crimson head man. Laying at the back end of the chart, one leg hanging lazily off the side as he stared off into the blue sky. "So this is freedom?" He asked himself watching a pair of birds fly about. "I didn't expect it to be so... Heavy." He has felt tense and rigid ever since he had slipped away from his group traveling toward the castle. From the front, Ark could hear the mumbling of the older man driving the chart. The man was old, but sadly Ark knew odds was he wasn't much older than himself. Still he turned toward him hearing his words. "That's the problem with young people theses days." Frowning he asked. "What do you mean, Pops?" Looking back Ark felt like the man was looking into his soul. "You believe that freedom is given? That it free?" He said turning back toward the road ahead of them. "You're a Sheikah, right?" It wasn't have big of a guess Ark knew. Not many people had the crimson eyes and hair of this people and they were still within a day ride from the Village. "So then good Sir, how does one get this freedom then?" He said in an almost mocking tone. "You earn it!" He snapped quickly quieting Ark. "People offend thinks it those who have a life picked out for them that have it hard. When it the opposite." Setting up and moving closer Ark question the man. "How do you mean? Isn't easier to do as you pleased?" The old man only shook his head. "And do what? Where will you live? How will you make money? These are just the first of many questions you have to ask yourself from this day on. Those who have a path have answer to these. This is what your body is trying to tell you boy. You may be older than you look but your still a child in the eyes of the world and the Goddess." In truth, Ark wasn't liking what he was hearing, but still he knew it to hold a hint of truth. "You saying in order to have freedom I much find a way to earn it for myself?" He asked staring off into the sky. However, he received no answer only the sudden jerking stop of the chart. Their ten feet from the chart stood five men, each with a weapon. "Ello there fine gentlemen. This be a road toll. So if you be so kind as to give up all your valuable. If you do you be free to leave with your life!" The man sicking grin were enough to tell you his words were true. The old man said nothing until Ark began to move. Standing he hopped down from the cart as the moved toward the front. "What in the Goddess you thing you doing boy?" The man asked fear in his voice. With only a smile, Ark turned to the man as he drew his bastard sword. "I'm doing what you told me, Sir. I'm finding my means to earn my freedom. I thing a free ride and a hot meal once we reach town will do for this." He said point the tip of his blade toward the bandits. "I do love Freedom!"
